We are looking for a professional to join our Investment Banking team in London and use their skills and ideas to make an impact on the success of Goldman Sachs. Our Natural Resources Group advises clients on various financial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, equity/equity-linked and debt financings, joint ventures, restructurings, and financial investments.

Role Responsibilities

Our Analysts and Associates play an important role in developing and strengthening client relationships, participating on advisory teams, and structuring and executing a full range of financial transactions. Responsibilities include:

Creating and analyzing financial modelsOrganizing and preparing client presentationsManaging transaction processesAssisting in structuring transactions

They gain exposure to the firm’s businesses and expand their knowledge of the investment banking industry while developing key analytical, communication, and marketing skills.

Additional responsibilities:

Develop financial models and perform customized company valuation analysisParticipate in M&A transactions and fixed income/equity issuancesPrepare presentations explaining industry trends and client strategiesCoordinate teams of tax advisors, attorneys, and bankersLead due diligence processes and participate in negotiations of legal documentationMaintain client communication and help structure transactions
