DIVISIONS AND JOB FUNCTIONS

Operations is at the core of Goldman Sachs. For every trade agreed, every new product launched or market entered, every transaction completed, it is Operations that enables business to flow. The Operations division partners with all areas of the firm to deliver banking, sales and trading and asset management capabilities to clients around the world. Alongside this vital service delivery role, Operations provides essential risk management and control, preserving and enhancing the firm’s assets and its reputation. Operations span all product lines and markets.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

Working with a team of Operations professionals in providing critical front to back trading supportIdentify gaps in processing and make recommendations to close those gapsEstablish relationships with brokers, custodians and vendors to streamline workflow wherever possibleLead projects, e.g. New business designs, architecture transformation and process automation, etc.Act as escalation point to senior Operations managers for issue resolutionConduit to business stakeholders in influencing decision making 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Attention to detail and good follow up skillsDemonstrate leadership and ownership of issue resolutionSelf-motivated and driven to achieveAnalytical in identifying solutions to problemsAbility to manage pressure and prioritize multiple tasks dailyTeam-player, excellent communication skillsExcellent spoken and written English and Mandarin

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

1-3 years of experience working in Operations from China onshore securities brokersUnderstanding of local regulatory and market practiceSAC qualified or ability to acquire within a short period of hiring
