Role Summary and Impact

We are seeking an exceptional Global B2B Senior Strategy Director to help evolve our strategic partnership with Google's B2B brands. This role will lead the EMEA region and work closely with the Global VP (also located in London) on key initiatives across all regions.

This is a pivotal role for a visionary leader who thrives on understanding complex B2B audiences, markets and challenges, and driving tangible business outcomes for one of the world's most influential companies.

What You'll Do:

Lead Google B2B Strategy (EMEA): Serve as the primary strategic point of contact for Google's B2B brands across EMEA, translating business challenges into actionable, insights-led media and communication strategies. Drive Strategic Innovation: Develop and deliver outstanding strategic recommendations, demonstrating deep expertise in how company size, industry, and lines of business influence decision-making processes. Client Partnership & Influence: Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders (especially media and innovation leads), guiding them through the unique dynamics of the B2B space and fostering long-term strategic relationships. Proactive Thought Leadership: Independently drive research, formulate insights, brainstorm new ideas, and maintain momentum on long-term strategic initiatives, navigating complex stakeholder structures. Market Intelligence: Continuously monitor and leverage audience, industry, technology, and macro trends to inform and evolve strategic recommendations. Collaborative Strategy Development: Partner closely with our Planning, Analytics and Creative teams to ensure strategic alignment from brief to execution. Cross-Agency Integration: Collaborate seamlessly with partner agencies to integrate messaging and creative campaigns into holistic media and communications plans.

Proven understanding of B2B pipeline management, Account-Based Marketing (ABM), and the nuances of B2B decision-making. Prior experience leading Strategy, CS or Planning with a track record of presenting to and influencing senior stakeholders. Strong understanding of digital media planning, market/audience research tools, and how to leverage data from platforms like Google, Facebook, LinkedIn for insights. Offline media understanding is a plus. Analytical & Strategic Mindset, with the ability to transform multifaceted data into clear, impactful analysis. Ability to think ahead and set the foundation of future success. Superior written, verbal, and presentation skills, and the ability to have tough conversations, resolve conflicts, and influence diverse teams and stakeholders.  Strong leadership and collaboration skills, and able to work effectively across disciplines, foster collaboration, and support team members.
