Your primary focus will be to build and maintain a robust risk assessment framework that supports effective decision-making and regulatory compliance, with a particular emphasis on country risk reviews and long-term sustainability. **What You'll Do:** + Design and implement a comprehensive AML & sanctions risk assessment methodology, integrating regulatory requirements, industry best practices and internal standards. + Customize assessment tools and processes to address key risk factors, including geographic, customer, product and transactional risks. + Ensure the framework remains agile and responsive to evolving regulatory landscapes and emerging threats. + Establish criteria for prioritizing country reviews based on risk exposure, regulatory changes and business strategy. + Lead periodic country risk assessments, leveraging data analytics and intelligence to identify high-risk jurisdictions. + Coordinate with global and regional stakeholders to ensure alignment and consistency in risk rating and mitigation strategies. + Build scalable processes to support future growth and regulatory changes, ensuring sustainability and resilience. + Foster a culture of continuous improvement, regularly reviewing and updating risk assessment methodologies and controls. + Collaborate with compliance, legal and business units to ensure effective risk communication and escalation. **What You'll Need:** To perform this job successfully, an individual will need to perform each crucial duty satisfactorily. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. + CAMS, CFCS or CFE preferred. + Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred. + Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems. + Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broad operational targets with impacts on own job discipline, multiple job disciplines, and department. + In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. The minimum salary for the Global AML & Sanctions Risk Assessment Lead position is $125,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Global AML & Sanctions Risk Assessment Lead position is $145,00 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
