Global Account Owner
Sensata Technologies is seeking a strategic sales leader with a passion for global business, team leadership, and building long-term client partnerships.

In this position as a Global Account Owner you will lead and develop a high-performing international account team while driving success with critical multinational customers. This is a high-impact, senior-level team leadership role where you will shape and execute global sales strategies, drive revenue growth, and build deep, trusted relationships with executive stakeholders across regions.

As the Global Account Owner, you will be at the forefront of Sensata’s customer engagement strategy, leading and inspiring cross-functional and cross-regional team members to deliver tailored solutions that meet complex client needs. You’ll serve as the strategic voice of the customer within our organization, ensuring alignment between global objectives and local execution. Your leadership and people development skills will directly influence innovation, operational excellence, and long-term value creation for both Sensata and our clients.

This role is home office-based in Germany, offering flexibility while keeping you connected to a dynamic international team.

General Responsibilities • Gathers detailed information about accounts • Identifies decision-makers • Understands strategic business challenges and priorities • Manages team with analyzing information and prioritizing opportunities critical to accounts • Manages professional sales coordination and account planning and resolves possible account ownership issues • Manages proposals, account or market plans, and forecast/report sales activity • Manages sales teams consisting of both direct and indirect reports Experience / Qualifications • A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience. • Ability to lead, coach, and develop team members • Holds self and others accountable to achieving goals and standards • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to handle multiple competing tasks and demands • Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation • Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results • Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) • Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
