Glendale Strategic Sourcing Intern, Spring 2026
Job Summary:

As a Strategic Sourcing intern, you will have the unique opportunity to assist with a variety of projects within our Strategic Sourcing department.

The approximate dates of this internship are January 2026 to June 2026. This is a full-time position, and interns must be fully available for the duration of the internship.

This Internship is in Glendale, CA.

What will you do:

Perform data analysis to find opportunities for cost reduction and value creation (improved quality, cost, service, and compliance) and facilitate supplier presentations.

Perform liaison work between Strategic Sourcing and Support Supplier Diversity efforts with key clients, ensuring efficient supply chain methods

Provide support for sourcing projects, including data analysis and supplier interface

Develop, implement, and report status of performance measures that demonstrate value and ensure supplier performance

Participate as required on the Quarterly Metric Package, Supplier Diversity Reporting

Consistently drive engagement with DX Sourcing Team, to ensure accuracy in data

Close partnership with the Source-to-Pay and Financial Services team to further align data and expand reporting potential

Drive DX Global Initiatives Projects: Furtherance of DX Segment wide initiatives such as

o   Supplier Relationship Management

o   Compliance

o   Spend and Contract Management via Metrics

Through product, industry, and supplier research, identify opportunities for Sustainability, while continuing to engage DX Sourcing, Clients, and Suppliers to map out next steps.

Perform external market assessment and opportunity analysis and participate in Supplier negotiations

Develop and handle partner and supplier relationships and contract implementations

Develop and implement sourcing strategies in alignment with business initiatives and priorities with an opportunity to work with Design and Construction, Facility & Operations Services, Fixtures, Furnishing & Equipment, Food and Beverage, Marketing & Graphics, Professional Services, Walt Disney Imagineering and/or Supplier Diversity Teams. 

Support diverse supplier identification, development, and research efforts

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Strong digital literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Excellent communication and leadership skills

Ability to take ownership and drive projects to completion with minimal supervision

Professional demeanor, focused, eloquent, and well organized

Ability to respond flexibly to evolving business needs

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

It would be great if you have/are familiar with:

Supply Chain Management industry

Previous theme park work experience

Education:

Currently enrolled as a Junior, Senior or Graduate student at an accredited college/university, earning a Bachelor's or Master's degree in in engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Logistics, Economics, Finance or related.

GPA of 3.0 or higher (no rounding)

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:

Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship​

Be at least 18 years of age​

Possess unrestricted work authorization​

Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program

Additional Information:

• Be compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines 

• Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship

• Fully available Monday thru Friday, PST for the duration of the internship,40 hours each week

• Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Glendale, CA area

• Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work


The pay rate for this role as an undergraduate in CA is $22.50 /hr. The pay rate for this role as a graduate student in CA is $30.40/hr.
