What can you expect?
In the Accounting Operations Teams, we execute all transaction processing globally at our onshore and offshore AO Centers. We are the key partner across Controllership on all transactional accounting-related matters.
The General Ledger is divided into functions: Bank, Revenue & Foreign Exchange, People Cost, Fixed Assets (FA), Facilities & Monitoring, and Assets & Liabilities.
What is in it for you?
This role sits within the Assets & Liabilities Team, which is responsible for activities related to accruals, prepaids, and other tasks. Specific responsibilities include the preparation of accruals, prepaids, adjustments, reclassifications, analysis of balance sheet and P&L accounts, review and approval of balance sheet reconciliations, and the creation and approval of manual journal entries.
We will count on you to:
Review and prepare balance sheet reconciliations and clear exceptions.Review, approve, and prepare requests for ad hoc analysis.Assist with auditors and audit requirements.Support journal entry processing and month-end reporting.Perform month-end checks related to Assets & Liabilities tasks.Ensure all month-end, quarterly, and yearly deliverables are met.Collaborate with the offshore team and controllers on a daily basis.What you need to have:
2+ years of experience in a similar roleUniversity degree (finance/economics) or recognized accounting qualificationVery good command of EnglishWorking knowledge of ERP accounting systemsAdvanced skills in Excel – VLOOKUPs, pivotsAbility to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and deliver results within short timeframesExposure to General Ledger accountingWhat makes you stand out:
