Core Responsibilities:
Enterprise Cluster Orchestration: Lead the deployment and lifecycle management of production GKE clusters. You will manage node pool configurations, version upgrades, and multi-zonal availability.Advanced CI/CD Automation: Architect and maintain sophisticated deployment pipelines for microservices using ArgoCD (GitOps) and GitHub Actions, ensuring a 'push-to-deploy' developer experience.Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Drive a 100% automation mandate by provisioning and managing all GCP resources using Terraform.Optimization & Observability: Implement proactive monitoring and fine-tune cluster performance. You will be responsible for cost-optimization through strategic autoscaling (HPA/VPA) and right-sizing.Security Governance: Establish a Zero Trust framework within the cluster by configuring granular IAM roles, service account least-privilege access, and FQDN-based network policies.Kubernetes Tooling & Extensibility: Act as the subject matter expert for Helm, managing complex manifest updates, Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs), and Kubernetes Operators. Technical Requirements: Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), with a heavy focus on Kubernetes.Platform Expertise: Deep architectural knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and GKE.Deployment Tools: Proven track record of implementing GitOps workflows using ArgoCD and automating workflows with GitHub Actions.IaC Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Terraform for managing complex cloud environments.Packaging & CLI: Advanced experience modifying Helm charts, managing CRDs, and using the Kubernetes CLI (kubectl) for deep-dive troubleshooting.Networking & Security: Solid understanding of Kubernetes networking, including Ingress controllers, Load Balancers, and FQDN network policies.Why Join Us?
