Job Title: GIS Technician Job Description The GIS Technician will play a vital role in updating and adding gas and land-based features to GIS software. This position involves mapping designs for utilities and updating existing gas and land map databases. The technician will also be responsible for creating, maintaining, and distributing specialty maps, as well as reviewing database reports. Essential Skills + Proficiency in GIS software. + Knowledge of Esri software. + Background in geography and design. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Strong computer skills. + Highly motivated with a keen interest in completing projects. + Good at computing and analyzing data. + Open to entry-level candidates. Work Environment This position is based in a 100% office environment. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
