Supports education, communication, and marketing of capabilities; as well as providing analytical support to both internal and external clients. **What You’ll Do:** + Process, prepare, and maintain critical analytic databases for client projects with a focus on the Industrial business line. + Use ESRI’s Network Analyst to run various network scenarios to provide insights into a client’s supply chain. + Present and demo capabilities, technical data and analytical results to a variety of audiences including brokers and sales professionals, clients, executives and other stakeholders. + Develop advanced specialized maps utilizing geographic and demographic information using programming, database, and graphic skills. + Extract demographic information from various databases for use in maps or reports. + Provide support to the project and account managers on client projects. + Perform quality assurance on all products or services being developed for clients to ensure product is meeting specified requirements. + Interface with clients as their primary database support resource and provides those clients database support as it is related to the maintenance of their solutions. + Support clients and internal resources in the roles of map development, geocoding, database development, database manipulation, and database design. + Perform other duties as assigned. **What You’ll Need:** To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. + Bachelor's degree with a major or minor in Geography or related field; or Associates degree or equivalent, with training in GIS technology. 2+ years experience required. + GIS Certification preferred. + Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, and able to communicate with people at all levels across the organization. + Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis. + Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills. + Advanced proficiency in ESRI ArcPRO, Maptitude, MapInfo, or other GIS-related technologies required. + Knowledge of Network Analyst a plus. + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. The minimum salary for the GIS Specialist 1 position is $38.46 per hour and the maximum salary for the GIS Specialist 1 position is $43.27 per hour.
