CDR Emergency Management Inc., a national emergency management firm, is seeking a GIS Professional with strong expertise in geospatial data analysis and mapping to support emergency management operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate situational awareness during disaster response and recovery missions.

The ideal candidate will be able to lead GIS functions within an incident management structure, support planning and operational objectives, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality GIS products.

Essential Functions:

Establish or transition GIS capability into a unit or team under the Planning Section within an Incident Command or emergency operations structure. Configure and manage GIS teams to support operational and planning objectives during response and recovery missions. Provide oversight and quality assurance for all GIS activities, ensuring data integrity and consistency across multiple GIS teams during expanding and complex incidents. Coordinate and manage the deployment of NIMS Type 1 GIS Analysts and other geospatial personnel to support mission-specific needs. Develop, maintain, and disseminate critical mapping products (e.g., situational maps, damage assessments, operational dashboards) to aid decision-making. Integrate GIS data from multiple sources to support planning, resource allocation, and operational tracking. Ensure compliance with established standards, protocols, and best practices in GIS data management and map production. Support data requests and provide technical guidance to field teams, planners, and leadership as needed.
