**Job Description**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced GIS Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As the GIS Manager, you will lead our geospatial initiatives, oversee GIS projects, and manage a team of GIS professionals. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and strategic thinking to drive innovation and efficiency in our geospatial operations.
+ Develop and implement GIS strategies aligned with organizational goals
+ Manage and mentor a team of GIS professionals, fostering their growth and development
+ Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of GIS databases and applications
+ Coordinate and prioritize GIS projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outputs
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GIS solutions into various business processes
+ Establish and maintain geospatial data standards, policies, and best practices
+ Conduct advanced spatial analysis and create high-quality cartographic products
+ Evaluate and implement new GIS technologies and methodologies to improve efficiency
+ Manage budgets and resources for GIS-related activities
+ Serve as a subject matter expert and liaison for GIS-related matters within the organization
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Systems, Geography, Computer Science, or related field; Master's degree preferred
+ 10+ years of experience in GIS-related roles, with at least 5 years in a management or leadership position
+ Advanced proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS and QGIS
+ Strong knowledge of spatial analysis, cartography, and geospatial data management
+ Expertise in database management systems and SQL
+ Familiarity with remote sensing and GPS technologies
+ Proven project management skills and experience leading cross-functional teams
+ Excellent leadership abilities with a track record of mentoring and developing team members
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
+ Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
+ GIS Professional (GISP) certification is a plus
+ In-depth understanding of geospatial technologies and their applications in various industries
+ Knowledge of geospatial data standards and best practices
+ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
+ Willingness to travel occasionally within Saudi Arabia, as required
