Description Our customer is seeking a skilled Full Stack Software Developer with strong GIS and geospatial data science experience, Python fluency, and a proactive, adaptive mindset. The successful candidate will join our team to support and expand our cloud-native analytics platform, turning complex agricultural datasets into elegant, user-focused web applications. This position will be responsible for working on internal applications and communicating with the team and internal power users, rather than directly with clients. The candidate will be working on GIS-related tasks, as the company uses Mapbox, a GIS software, and its integrations with Python and React. A typical day would involve a brief daily standup and then working independently, with the option to reach out for guidance or direction as needed. Primary Duties • Design, build, and deploy scalable web applications with a focus on performance and usability • Develop data processing pipelines, integrating aerial imagery and key geospatial agriculture data • Collaborate on database design and data optimization • Support user experience design by contributing to front-end architecture when needed • Communicate effectively with cross-functional partners including clients, cooperators, data scientists • Triage and resolve issues in a production environment; participate in code reviews and product planning Top Skills Details Full stack, gis, python, React Additional Skills & Qualifications 1.) Familiarity with cloud computing environments (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerized workflows Experience Level: 5+ years in a software development role Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, GIS, or related field Experience Level Expert Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $140000.00/yr. ligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
