GIS Editing Analyst
Job Description The Position would be assisting with verifying, updating and maintaining databases for client owned properties, tax-foreclosed properties and property leases. This would include document research, uploading and entering data into a geodatabase of existing features, quality control of the GIS dataset based on address and legal description. Geocode existing fee-owned properties in a GIS based on address locations and/or block and lot references. Update attribute records to accurately reflect property data, Tax Foreclosed Properties. Update ArcGIS Experience Builder application, as needed, to appropriately visualize tax-foreclosed properties Property Leases. Update GIS records, as needed, to support the Lease Administration program Create boundary features (easements, ROWs) based on KMZ/shapefile data as well as survey exhibits and update attribution for said features. These will be created using ArcGIS Pro. Assist in creating records and maintaining existing records in a GIS database for Mineral Management leases, totaling roughly 700-unit boundaries to be completed based off various real-estate documentation records. Assist with the ongoing collection and data integrity of the general fund facilities by maintaining GIS features. Assist with data maintenance of fuel sites across the city, as well as maintain the data associated with these sites. Additional duties not described above. Skills and Requirements At least 2 years Experience GIS skills, understands database and editing Right of way or easement background, legal descriptions and land records GIS Database experience Ability input data and confirm work accurately BA in Geography, GIS, Public Administration, Planning, Real Estate or related discipline or equivalent work experience Easement/ROW Agent license Experience with Property Lease Management, Mineral Management, or Oil and Gas Leases
