The Global Centre of Excellence in Drone and Geospatial Technologies is a group of experts, consultants, and engineers unique within the organization, operating at the intersection of business, technology, and spatial data. We are looking for:
GIS Analyst


Your future role:Collaborating on a wide range of GIS related projects with focus on location intelligence,Managing the full GIS data lifecycle: sourcing data from open-source, commercial, and governmental providers; performing quality checks; and ensuring proper documentation,Supporting standardization of heterogeneous datasets (formats, attributes, coordinate systems) and integrating them into consistent data models, including grids or hexagonal index systems,Performing spatial analyses (e.g., proximity, clustering, accessibility, market potential, catchment areas) to derive meaningful location-based insights,Building clear, insightful maps, dashboards, and other geospatial products that support data‑driven decision-making,Preparing and contributing to reports and presentations that translate complex spatial analyses into clear business or operational recommendations for our clients,Conducting specialized market research in emerging technologies related to unmanned systems (sea, air, land), earth observation platforms, image data processing or geospatial AI tools,Supporting the design and improvement of internal GIS and location intelligence tools, workflows, and best practices.
Apply if you have:Interest in geospatial data analytics, tools, and technologies,Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently,Familiarity with spatial technologies, spatial data and/or spatial information systems concepts, tools, or data formats,At least a year of experience in GIS or spatial data science, geomarketing or related topics,Degree in Geodesy and Cartography, Geoinformatics / Spatial Information Systems, Spatial Management / Urban Planning (with a GIS emphasis), Environmental Engineering (with a GIS focus), Geography with a strong focus on GIS or similar programs,Expertise with modern GIS software (e.g., QGIS, Esri ArcGIS suite),Hands-on experience in working with PostgreSQL/PostGIS database, including database management and spatial queries,Strong communication skills and confidence in articulating your ideas and opinions,Very good command of the English language as well as interpersonal and communication skills (min. B2, C1 preferable) - essential in day-to-day cooperation with clients and the team,Willingness to travel to various clients and countries globally (on-site or hybrid work model),Openness to international assignments and adapting to diverse work environments.
Nice to have:Ability to manage ArcGIS Online or Entreprise intstance within a team or organization,Experience in designing Power BI or Tableau dashboards to visualize geospatial data,Basic programming skills in languages such as Python, C++, JavaScript, or others, with applicable geospatial libraries,Knowledge about SKDs or REST APIs,Experience in other GIS databases and technology, such as GeoServer, Martin, PG_Featureserv, PG_Tileserv, MapServer, QField, Mergin Maps, DuckDB.
