We are seeking a GIS Analyst to join our team, dedicated to providing data-driven geographic information solutions. You will work on the JANUS contract, merging geospatial and cartographic skills to deliver sustainable solutions globally. This role involves acquiring, analyzing, and managing geospatial data, ensuring the quality and accuracy of information for national, military, and civil partners.
ResponsibilitiesAcquire, analyze, compile, evaluate, and review geospatial data for standard and non-standard products.Attribute, exploit, extract, format, manipulate, position, and symbolize geospatial information.Ensure the quality, accuracy, and currency of geospatial information produced in-house or in collaboration with contractors and suppliers.Support project requirements by utilizing GIS tools and methodologies.
Essential SkillsWorking knowledge of ESRI GIS software, including ArcGIS or ArcMap.Experience in extracting, manipulating, and utilizing GIS data.Completion of GIS college classes or certifications.Familiarity with routine office software for electronic mail, spreadsheets, and word processing.
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with ArcPro, including functions like reshape, create feature, apply attribution, apply definition queries, join/relate, and create buffers.Experience with vector data and digitizing.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
