Job Title: GIS Analyst

Overview:

Join one of the region’s largest gas utilities as a GIS Analyst, where you’ll play a key role in supporting engineering and construction management teams by maintaining and enhancing our Geographic Information System (GIS). This position is ideal for someone with a strong GIS background and a passion for utility infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute assignments using WG ARM, SW, and AppEx platforms.Maintain and update GIS data within the Smallworld environment.Serve as a system tester for the UOX GIS Migration project.Assist with data migration and data cleansing initiatives.Support and drive the completion of ongoing GIS-related projects.

Required Qualifications:

1–3 years of experience in a GIS-focused role.Background in the gas utility sector.Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Geology, or a related discipline.Proficiency in ESRI ArcPro and ArcGIS.Familiarity with Smallworld and gas transmission/distribution systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

1-3 years of hands-on GIS experience.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment:

In-office presence required 2–3 days per week.Core working hours: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM.Reports to the Manager of Operations Geo Spatial Mapping.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00/hr.
