Job Title: GIS Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled GIS Analyst to support various projects in the greater Pittsburgh area. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in geospatial analysis and be responsible for multiple data processing tasks.

ResponsibilitiesImport construction as-built geometry.Provide shapefiles to assist in surveys.Create exhibits for construction projects, grant applications, and design reports.Process stormwater and sanitary sewer data.Essential SkillsProficiency in ESRI ArcGIS version 10.x products (Basic, Standard, Advanced).Knowledge of geodatabase creation and data management using ArcCatalog.Experience in developing and automating processes through model builder and Python scripts.Understanding of ArcGISPro 2.x and integration with ArcGIS Online.Knowledge of ArcGIS Online platform and Survey 123.Ability to extract, analyze, and interpret data, including international business data.Strong independent work capability and team collaboration skills.Proactive communication, both verbal and written.Desire to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining scheduled tasks, troubleshooting issues, and developing solutions.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in managing and completing post-processing of GPS data.Field data collection experience using Trimble GPS units.Programming and scripting skills (Python, Shell, VB, JavaScript).Familiarity with ArcGIS Server.Experience with ESRI's SDE, SQL Server, and other relational databases.Proficiency in creating spreadsheets in Excel.Experience with Microsoft Access.Work Environment

This role involves office work with a hybrid schedule, allowing one day per week at home. You will be working in cubicles, providing a structured and focused environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $35.00/hr.
