Job Description

As a GIS Analyst, you will play a crucial role in acquiring, analyzing, compiling, evaluating, and reviewing geospatial data. Your work will support project requirements by attributing, exploiting, extracting, formatting, manipulating, positioning, and symbolizing geospatial information. You will ensure the quality, accuracy, and currency of geospatial information, working in-house or in cooperation with contractors and suppliers for national, military, and civil partners and clients.

ResponsibilitiesAcquire and analyze geospatial data for standard and non-standard products.Compile, evaluate, and review geospatial data to support project requirements.Attribute, exploit, extract, format, manipulate, position, and symbolize geospatial information.Ensure the quality, accuracy, and currency of geospatial information.Collaborate with contractors and suppliers to produce geospatial information for various partners and clients.Essential SkillsWorking knowledge of ESRI GIS software - ArcGIS or ArcMap.Experience in extracting, manipulating, and utilizing GIS data.Completion of GIS college classes or certifications.Familiarity with routine office software for electronic mail, spreadsheets, and word processing.Additional Skills & QualificationsProficiency in using ArcPro or ArcMap.Work Environment

You will work in a technologically advanced environment using state-of-the-art geospatial tools. The position involves standard office hours, with a focus on collaboration and innovation. Dress code is business casual.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
