Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Gift Shop Coordinator, you will manage the daily operation of the Gift Shop(s) to ensure a smooth, efficient, and profitable service that meets the needs of patients, families, employees, and hospital visitors.
Every day you will maintain fiscal responsibility, oversee inventory control, and manage volunteer staffing for the Hospital gift shop. You will also assist with the overall management of the volunteer department, ensure merchandise is presented in aesthetically appealing displays, and continuously review and update gift shop systems, policies, and procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate strong leadership in retail management, a keen business acumen for profitability and inventory control, and exceptional skills in volunteer management.
