Position Purpose
Manages strategic categories, primary contact between CMs and director, they are the leader of the team, work close with the rest of the CMs in order to improve the negotiations and stretegies to boos sales
Primary Accountabilities
+ Category Management - New Item Setups, Sku Maintenance, Exception Report, Review Same Store Sales Report, Cost & Retail Changes, Devaluations, Project Follow ups, Vendor Negotiations, Funding, Unproductive Inventory
+ Pre-Line Reviws/Line Reviews - Review Proposals, Meeting with Vendors, Evaluating Samples, Product Analysis, New Adds, Deletes and Clones, Vendor Funding, Forecasting, Devaluations, Vendor Negotiations
+ Coaching ACM and CM the Job Responsibilities
+ Supply Chain - Fill Rate, Special Orders, Recalls, Return to Vendor, Return to Stock, Order Follow up
+ Planogram - Building the Planogram, Min Review, ZAP Revision, Planogram Maintenance, Secondary Placement Follow up
+ Store Support - Customer Satisfaction, Pricing Deals
+ Marketing - Upload Promotions, Product Images, Innovation,
Education & Experience
Level of Formal Education: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.
Area of Study: Business Degree
Years of Experience: Five to seven years.
Type of Experience: Operational and Merchandising Experience
Special Certifications or Technical Skills: Microsoft Office, Data Entry, Management
Other/Preferred: Bilingual (English/Spanish)
