**Main Purpose of Job**
Lead implementation/execution of the Nestlé maintenance and TPM strategy for MX-Veracruz factory. Build up the required capabilities & knowledge within our Veracruz factory. Ensure People health and safety through the application of Nesté Corporate Engineering Standards. Responsible for Veracruz's maintenance performance and overall production lines stability - world class EUPS (estimated unplanned stoppages) and PS (planned stoppages) aiming to achieve AI (Asset Intensity) level above 85%.
Responsible for the Maintenance compliance in Veracruz factory by supporting, training, guiding and challenging our engineers, coordinators and technicians. Develop maintenance people towards a world class and Digital Manufacturing Excellence.
Ensure that all M&I activities improves the business objectives (safety, quality, performance and cost), with an integrated management of assets under operation.
Responsable for the definition and implementation of TPM/Maintenance "show case" for Nestle Mexico, with starting point in Veracruz factory.
Governance and leadership of PM Pillar (Planned Maitenance Pillar) and Maintenance digital transformation plan (e.g. predictive maintenance and other relevant prioritized digital initiatives). Actively lead and build up the maintenance expertise (core network). Close interface with Center Experts (NPTC, TCUs and R&D) ensuring alignment with global maintenance (extended network).
**Key Outputs**
+ Manage existing assets: Ensure that organization implemented the maintenance- and TPM strategy based on business needs. Establishe an organization framework to deliver this management system. Put in place effective system of maintenance performance governance. Benchmark externally and internally, across Nestle, to identify opportunities to improve the way we do maintenance. Support development of new tools, systems, approaches and leverage digital technologies to improve asset maintenance performance. Ensure effective knowledge management between the different factories and the TCUs, facilitates creation and sharing of good maintenance practices. Cooperate with Procurement to drive cost effective execution of the maintenance.
+ Optimise Maintenance cost and deliver performance: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of maintenance cost components and cost drivers, and there business impact. Manage and drives improvement of maintenance cost and unplanned stops through leadership and strategy deployment and execution. Demonstrate a cost-benefit mind-set and seeks opportunities to identify losses and applies tools to eliminate them. Define and align Maintenance priorities to support and deliver overall factory objectives. Challenges individuals and teams to identify opportunities and develop ideas for improvement. Demonstrates understanding of how digital can be an enabler for cost competitive maintenance. Evaluation of the Maintenance indicators to support, challenge, coach and mentoring the tehcnical staff focusing in Excellence in Maintenance.
+ Operate, maintain and deliver industrialisation: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and understanding of the Nestlé Maintenance Strategy and PM Pillar tools and methodologies and can define and execute the factory strategy to deliver business needs. Assure that the Maintenance Strategy is being applied in the whole factory such as: good root cause analysis of breakdown, optimization of PM03 (preventive, inspections and PLIL´s), evolution of autonomy etc. Ensure execution of defined strategies through establishment of effective management routines and coaching of maintenance and Engineering compliance @ shop floor. Demonstrate understanding and leadership of how digital as an enabler to improve reliability and costs. Delivers an asset maintenance program in the form of set of list of maintainable components and maintenance activities for each new asset. Ensures that technical competencies are being developed according the reality of each factory, including the competences required to maintain new assets are identified and developed prior to asset start-up. Defines scope and approach of technical competencies to be developed in the line operating teams. Lead the implementation of applicable standards. Ensure adherence to applicable standards in the area of responsibility.
+ Manage risk and compliance: Demonstrate knowledge of risk management principles, broad knowledge of relevant legal, statutory and local regulations and requirements as well as relevant Nestlé policies, standards and guidelines. Ensure management of risk through risk and compliance management processes and routines to ensure that an assessment, identification, planning and review process (PDCA) is in place to manage risks, cost-benefit, and maintain ongoing compliance, and personnel and food safety. Ensures that machinery and equipment is safe to operate and that the Engineering team has competence in Machinery Safety. Applies and adheres to standards, and manages the competence and behaviours of engineering personnel and contractors, such that food safety and personnel safety are never compromised.Support, coach, mentoring and challenging the technical staff (engineers, coordinators, technicinas, etc) to deliver Compliance. Assess the Engineering Functional Compliance Assessment.
+ Build Engineering Capability & Leadership Creation: Provide technical leadership and mentoring to facilities maintenance staff and operations teams. Build up maintenance methodologies competencies within Engineering, on the topics from Roles and Responsibilities matrix. Create and maintain CBP (Competence building plans) and Skill Matrix. Ensure the allocation of maintenance resources (experts and skilled engineers, technicians) for the most added value maintenance activities and maximize the transfer activities for the operations (ensuring safety first, quality and performance). Champion Assets Maintenance management with senior management to ensure consistently high levels of awareness, visibility and commitment.
**Profile:**
+ Engineering completed.
+ English advanced
+ Minimun experience 10 years in technical field, preferably food/consumer goods Industry.
+ Experience in engineering management (maintenance, industrial , services, E&A ), preferably related to manufacturing of FMCG
+ Strong knowledge and experience in TPM
+ Participation in a M&I or Factory Engineering College
+ Project Management skills
