Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Logistics Manager (Gerente de Logística) to join our team in Juárez, Mexico. The ideal candidate will oversee and optimize our entire supply chain operations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective logistics processes while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance overall supply chain efficiency and effectivenessManage and coordinate all aspects of logistics, including planning, procurement, storage, inventory control, and distributionOptimize cross-border logistics operations between Mexico and the United StatesCollaborate with internal departments and external partners to streamline processes and improve performanceAnalyze data and key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement solutionsEnsure compliance with local and international regulations, including customs and trade lawsLead and mentor a team of logistics professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvementDevelop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other logistics partnersImplement and oversee warehouse management systems and technologies to enhance operational efficiencyManage budgets and control costs while maintaining service qualityStay updated on industry trends and best practices to drive innovation in logistics processes

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in logistics management, preferably in a manufacturing or cross-border trade environmentProven expertise in supply chain processes, warehouse management, and inventory controlStrong knowledge of Mexican customs regulations and cross-border logistics operationsProficiency in MS Office and SAP; experience with other logistics management software is a plusExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-makingStrong leadership abilities with experience in team management and developmentOutstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partnersFluency in Spanish and English is requiredExperience with lean management principles and continuous improvement methodologiesAbility to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong organizational skills with attention to detail and a commitment to accuracyInnovative mindset with a track record of implementing process improvements and new technologies in logistics operations
