The Opportunity
This position works out of our São Paulo, Michigan site at Brooklin, in the Point of Care business. Our Point of Care diagnostic portfolio spans key heath and therapeutic areas, including infections disease, cardiometabolic, informatics and toxicology.

The APOC commercial manager leads the business to achieve key strategic goals.
Among the main responsibilities are:
Direct all aspects of the day-to-day operations in a large and complex country with a sales volume to ensure efficiency and performance in accordance with the corporate objectives, strategy and plans.
Oversee, monitor, and evaluate the operation's performance ensuring delivery of assigned goals.
Direct the preparation of operating budgets and proposals for capital expenditure and investments in infrastructure, technology, equipment, systems, or other assets and resources, analyze and approve operational investments that best meet the organization’s business needs.
Lead, guide, evaluate, and develop a team of senior managers with operational responsibilities to ensure that the organization achieves it business objectives and complies with all relevant regulations and laws.
Accelerate growth and new product adoption in developing markets and ensure continuing market share growth.
Mitigate and manage risk in volatile economic markets
Consistently meet or exceed sales and margin goals
Successful execution of accurate forecasting methodology to manage P&L and drive margin improvement
Demonstrate leadership and ability to attract, develop, and retain talent
Ability to drive success with multiple market models: direct, distributor and hybrid, healthcare systems, and regulatory bodies; ability to quickly adjust direction and resources in a dynamic and rapidly changing market.
Ability to lead the organization through various corporate integration activities and a continuous process improvement.
Support negotiations and close exclusive partnerships with the best accounts in the country, always aligned with the company goals.
Ensure that your team keeps their pipeline updated on a daily basis.

Education
Bachelor's degree, with MBA Business Education as preferred.
Experience / Skills
Preferred 10 years’ experience in healthcare Industry, medical Devices/diagnostic markets preferred; Demonstrated ability to understand the portfolio of products.
5 years proven success in ascending leadership roles
Financial and business acumen: P&L Management experience required
Demonstrated experience in building high performance teams and managing multi-disciplinary organizations
Proven record of accomplishment in meeting/exceeding revenue goals
Customer focus and relationship building skills; experienced in developing effective relationships across a diverse group of clinical and non-clinical stakeholders at the highest levels in both public and private domains.
Demonstrated experience with and understanding of key opinion leaders and payers within the Brazil market
Demonstrated understanding of big data analytics to effectively partner with payers, hospitals, and labs
Must have either sales and/or marketing leadership experience
Talent Management Capabilities: ability to mobilize and inspire large organizations. Demonstrated experienced in attract, develop and retain high performing and high potential talent.
Cross cultural and cross functional sensitivity
Business Fluent in Portuguese and English required
