The Opportunity
This position works out of our São Paulo site in the Established Pharmaceuticals Division.We are committed to bringing the benefits of our trusted medicines to more people in the world’s fastest-growing countries. Our broad portfolio of high-quality and differentiated branded generic medicines reaches across multiple therapeutic areas including gastroenterology, women's health, cardiometabolic, pain management/central nervous system, and respiratory.
This is a high-impact role with strong visibility to leadership, responsible for shaping the future of a strategic portfolio within the retail market. We are looking for a Senior Portfolio Manager to lead the strategic development and performance acceleration.
This role is responsible for portfolio strategy, lifecycle management and commercial excellence, ensuring sustainable growth, strong market positioning and effective collaboration across multifunctional team.
What You’ll Do
Portfolio Strategy & Growth
Define and execute the portfolio strategy for the retail channel, maximizing value across brands
and lifecycle stages (launch, growth, maturity).
Identify growth opportunities, white spaces, and portfolio synergies.
Lead portfolio prioritization and resource allocation.
Oversee brand strategies ensuring alignment with market dynamics and patient needs.
Translate insights into actionable commercial plans.
Monitor portfolio/brand performance, KPIs, forecast, P&L and A&P
Leverage data (IQVIA, demand data, market trends) to drive decisions.
Cross-functional Leadership, work closely with sales, medical, access, supply and finance teams to ensure execution excellence.
Influence senior stakeholders
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Pharmacy or related field. A postgraduate degree (MBA) can be a differentiating factor
8+ years’ experience in pharmaceutical industry, in marketing or portfolio strategy.
Strong experience with retail / prescription market dynamics.
Proven track record managing multiple brands or portfolios.
Strong analytical mindset and strategic thinking.
High ownership and growth mindset
Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills to lead cross-functional initiatives
Languages:
Fluent English.
Spanish can be a differentiating factor
Soft Skills:
Strong strategic thinking, deep understanding of the pharmaceutical retail market and proven experience managing complex portfolios.
Leadership: Inspiring teams, resolving conflicts, and making decisions.
Communication: Excellent communication and presentation with clear narrative
