Job Title: Geotechnical Engineer Employment Type: Direct Hire Location: Buffalo, Ithaca OR Rochester, NY (3 openings, 1 per location) Compensation: $90K to 100K/Annual GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER SUMMARY Field and reporting aspects of Geotechnical investigation, engineering and inspection including field investigation by means of drilling, test pit investigation and other in-field sampling methods. RESPONSIBILITIES + Geotechnical laboratory analysis + Evaluation and calculation of soil bearing capacity and other geotechnical parameters + Evaluation of foundation types and design parameters + Report Preparation and technical writing + Construction Phase Testing + Inspection and consultation QUALIFICATIONS + Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering (required + Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred; mid-level candidates (5–10 years) without a PE must be willing and eligible to sit for the exam + 5–15 years of hands-on, relevant geotechnical engineering experience (mid- to senior-level) + Valid driver’s license System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé, ALTA IT Services, and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
