Description:   Function as a Geographic Analyst providing geospatial data and application creation and support for the State of Michigan. Function as GIS analyst responsible for creating interactive map viewer intended to highlight Michigan fisheries assessment data collected and maintained by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources.
Skills Required: Thorough knowledge of Geographic Information Systems. 
• Experience designing and maintaining geospatial data models.
• Experience creating interactive web based map viewer applications using ArcGIS Server JavaScript API, Microsoft .NET, and web services.
• Experience efficiently integrating data from geospatial database into web based applications.
• Experience designing and documenting geospatial application specifications. 

Skills Preferred: Experience identifying and documenting project requirements. • Experience in creating geospatial applications that are compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act accessibility guidelines. 
• Knowledge of State of Michigan standards for look and feel of web site and applications. 

Experience Required: 6 or more years

Education Required: 
Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major. 
Education Preferred: Possession of a bachelor's degree in Geography/GIS or Computer Science.
