Job Description

We are permanently looking for a Genomics Sales Account Manager (m/w/d) (home-office based with frequent travel (70%) across your territory and to Eurofins Genomics production sites (Germany, few times per year).).

You will be responsible for:

Increase sales in all genomics services (e.g. NGS, Sanger sequencing, oligos, gene synthesis, microarray, genotyping, custom projects) in the market areas of agrigomics, environmental & food genomics, biopharma genomics and personal genomics

Establish and maintain a sales pipeline: identify new projects and business opportunities

Regular reporting (sales analysis, forecasting, competitive analysis) and intensive use of CRM

Close cooperation with account managers and specialists to ensure an excellent customer experience

Involvement of technical experts for optimal project solutions

Passing on market and customer feedback to internal teams

Implementation of the sales strategy in coordination with the Regional Sales Manager

Organisation of regional customer events

Conducting product presentations and providing advice on genomics solutions

 

Qualifications

Your profile:

Residence in the area, ideally in the Berlin region

Completed degree (BSc or higher) in a relevant scientific subject

In-depth knowledge of genomics applications and analysis methods

Independent, goal-oriented approach to work – including when working from home

Hunter mentality

Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills

Team player with high integrity and initiative

Business fluent written and spoken German and English
