Labcorp is seeking a US Remote Based Genetic Counselor to join our team to support a busy Maternal Fetal Medicine Practice in New York City.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm eastern time zone

Job Responsibilities:

Provide virtual prenatal genetic counseling services for MFM practice in New YorkHave the opportunity to provide direct patient care for a wide variety of complex indications from an extensive referral baseBe able to engage in professional growth opportunities including writing abstracts and publications, physician education and other projectsHave access to the expertise of a nation-wide organization of medical geneticists, biochemical and molecular geneticists, and over 100 counseling colleaguesEnjoy benefits including a competitive compensation package, CEU educational support and reimbursement for genetic counseling certificationParticipate in educational and research initiatives within Labcorp.

Minimum Qualifications:

Masters degree in Human Genetics or Genetic CounselingAmerican Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) certification

Preferred Qualifications:

2 years or more experience as a certified Genetic Counselor1 year or more experience of prenatal or reproductive Genetic Counseling

Additional Job Standards:

Genetic Counselor license in state of residence (if applicable)​Highly organized, including excellent time management skillsStrong multi-tasking ability with excellent attention to detailExcellent communication skills, both written and oralStrong computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office

**Pay Range: $85,000 - $120,000 / year  
All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
