We’re looking for a skilled Generator Service Technician (Mechanical) to join Himoinsa's dynamic team. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in the field, ensures reliable power solutions, and takes pride in delivering top-quality service to clients across diverse industries.

Key Requirements

Minimum 3 years’ experience with diesel generators and site installations Valid Mechanical Red Seal qualification Strong ability to read electrical diagrams, single-line drawings, and instrumentation schematics Familiarity with MV/LV/EHV transformers, switchgear, and protection relays Experience with genset controllers (Deep Sea, ComAp, etc.), SCADA, PLC panels, and communication protocols
Role Overview Install, configure, and commission diesel generators and associated equipment Perform troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repairs Provide technical support and training to clients and operations teams Carry out field inspections and respond to after-hours service calls Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety & Environmental standards Collaborate with service management to deliver projects on time and within budget
