We continue to be committed to building a diverse and inclusive team and encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds. We are seeking a talented and motivated Human Resources Generalist for our 503B facility in Dayton, NJ.
JOB PURPOSE
The HR Generalist manages various human resources functions, including employee relations, and compliance. The Generalist assists in the hiring process, conducts employee orientations, handles HR documentation, and addresses employee inquiries. Additionally, HR Specialists may participate in training and ensure adherence to company policies and labor laws. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are crucial in this role.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Onboarding: Conduct employee orientations, ensure new hires are familiar with company policies, procedures, and benefits. Employee Relations: Address employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and foster a positive work environment. Act as a liaison between employees and management. Promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment. HR Documentation: Maintain and update employee records. Ensure records are accurate and compliant with relevant laws and regulations. Ensure critical employment requirements are maintained such as FLSA, Federal I-9 (E-Verify), ADAA, HIPPA, FCRA etc. and assigned business units stay are compliant. Performance Management: Support performance appraisal processes, provide guidance on goal setting, feedback, and improvement plans. Compliance: Stay informed about labor laws and regulations to ensure the company's HR practices align with legal requirements. Implement and enforce HR policies. Exit Interviews: Conduct exit interviews. Analyze data to identify trends, contributing to continuous improvement with employee satisfaction and retention. Data Analysis: Utilize HR software and tools to analyze workforce data and provide insights to guide strategic decision-making. Employee Engagement: Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, morale, and overall satisfaction within the workplace. Conflict Resolution: Mediate and resolve workplace conflicts to promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment. Communication: Effectively communicate HR policies, changes, and updates to employees and management. Performance Metrics: Track and report key HR metrics, such as turnover rates, time-to-fill, and other relevant indicators. Advisory Role: Provide guidance to management on HR best practices, employee relations, and compliance matters.QUALIFICATOINS
Minimum: Bachelor of Arts or Science in Human Resources or related field is required.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum: 5+ years of related Human Resources experience.
SKILLS
Strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills. The ability to interact positively and efficiently with the HR team, employees, and external partners. Ability to handle confidential information and build trust throughout all levels. Proficient in HR information systems including HRIS and payroll systems. Exceptional skills and working knowledge in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and PowerPoint is required.Compensation:
Base Salary: $78,000.00 to $82,0000.00. The compensation for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, work location, prior experience and job-related knowledge, relevant skills and expertise, current business needs, and market factors.
