Role and Responsibilities

Your Journey

As a Samsung Trainee in the General Track, you’ll rotate through different departments—Mobile, Audio & Video, Home Appliances, Display—based on your profile and interest. You’ll be part of strategic projects, receive structured training, and develop your skills in a wide variety of roles.

You’ll begin with an immersive onboarding program and then dive into real responsibilities from day one. Throughout the three years, you’ll grow both professionally and personally—with the support of a mentor and an internal training curriculum.

Within our General Traineeship we currently have vacancies for:

Trainee Strategy & Insights
Analyze market and customer data to support strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities.

Trainee Jr Digital Marketing Specialist
Assist with online campaigns and performance analysis to strengthen Samsung’s digital presence.

Trainee E-Commerce Operations
Support the daily operations of Samsung’s online store, including stock, orders, and product listings.

Trainee Retail
Collaborate with physical stores to improve product visibility, in-store promotions, and sales performance.

Trainee E-Retail
Work with online retailers to optimize digital campaigns, product pages, and sales results.

Trainee Supply Chain Management
Help manage logistics, inventory, and planning to ensure smooth product delivery from factory to customer.

What are your assets

Knowledge and experience – you have a master degree in economics or social sciences (e.g., Data Analytics, Business Information Management, Marketing Management, Innovation Management, Entrepreneurship, Economics, Commercial Science, Communication Management, …). Graduates with another degree, but with the right experience and mindset also qualify!

Spontaneous personality – you have strong communication skills and know how to convince others with your dedication, assertiveness and openness. With your enthusiasm, you actively involve others in projects and tasks.

Sociable - you enjoy working with colleagues and having meetings with external stakeholders. You’re eager to build a network that you will keep up to date.

Critical and analytical skills – you can execute with excellence on the most important things. You’re able to identify new opportunities and overcome barriers.

Personal leadership – you’re actively focused on your personal development. You’re aware of your own talents, pitfalls and challenges. You’re eager to grow as professional and as a person.

Language – you’re a good communicator in Dutch and English. This enables you to easily collaborate with colleagues, partners and stakeholders.
