School-Based Registered Nurse Opportunity – Dorchester, MA We are currently hiring RNs and LPNs for school nursing roles within a Dorchester-based school system. These positions are available immediately and offer a consistent Monday–Friday schedule (32.5 hours/week). Position Highlights + Location: Dorchester, MA + Start Date: ASAP + Hours: Full-time, 32.5 hours/week + Compensation: Up to $45/hr for LPNs, up to $55/hr for RNs We have two separate openings, each serving a different school population: + February 23 – April 3 + Approximately 380 students + Ages 2.5–14 years + Includes 3 students requiring insulin administration + March 2 – End of School Year + Approximately 270 students + Ages 15 months–8th grade Role Overview The nurse will support general school health needs, including: + Medication administration + First aid and routine triage + Documentation in the school’s system + Diabetes management (insulin administration required) + Working closely with a predominantly Spanish-speaking community (Spanish is helpful but not mandatory) Required Qualifications + Active RN or LPN license + Pediatric background preferred + Familiarity with SNAP (for documentation) and EEC guidelines is strongly beneficial + Spanish-speaking candidates are encouraged to apply but it is not a requirement Please reach out if you have any questions or would like additional details about either opening.
