General Restaurant Manager

A General Restaurant Manager is responsible for managing restaurant operations to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while training staff and working within budgeted guidelines.



What will I be doing?

As General Restaurant Manager, you will lead the strategic and day-to-day operations of one or more signature dining venues at Waldorf Astoria Doha West Bay. Your role is to ensure an exceptional guest experience that reflects the brand’s legacy of refined service, while driving commercial performance, team development, and operational excellence. You will be responsible for overseeing service delivery, team leadership, financial performance, and brand compliance across all aspects of the restaurant operation.

Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional guest service and brand alignment.Lead, train, and motivate the restaurant team to deliver luxury hospitality standards.Manage budgets, control costs, and drive revenue through strategic initiatives.Handle guest feedback professionally, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.Collaborate with culinary and F&B teams on menu development and activations.Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate stock records.Monitor team performance and implement service improvement plans.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.Support cross-departmental coordination and maintain strong internal relationships.Uphold Waldorf Astoria’s commitment to sustainability and service excellence.

Proven management and/or supervisory experience in upscale Food & Beverage operationsAbility to meet financial targets and optimize restaurant performanceStrong knowledge of Food & Beverage brand standards and luxury service deliveryAbility to lead under pressure while maintaining poise and professionalismImpeccable grooming and personal presentation standardsCommitment to developing team members and fostering a culture of growthFlexibility to respond to diverse operational needs and guest expectations

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field

Passion for curating exceptional dining experiences and driving guest satisfaction
