**Job Title: General Production Worker - Quality Control** Job Description We are seeking a dedicated General Production Worker to join our quality control team. This role focuses on conducting quality assurance material checks, testing, and managing sample tender processes and procedures to ensure the highest standards of product quality. Responsibilities + Prepare colour charts and folders for both internal and external use. + Train on quality checks and testing to identify and prevent product defects. + Collect samples and review carton quality from all production departments for retains and customer requests. + Determine and manage substandard products and raw materials, participating in product sorting and mentoring other sorters. + Organize and maintain the sample room, distributing colour charts and samples as requested. + Perform tests on customer products using quality lab equipment. + Enter test data into the computer according to customer requirements. + Generate Certificates of Assurance and Compliance, and Colour Management reports for customers. + Gather samples and data to assist in quality investigations. + Maintain and file production and quality records by order number. + Conduct daily physical inventory verification of QA Hold and NC Roll Hold areas. + Perform internal quality machine and food safety audits. + Complete cleaning tasks according to the quality lab cleaning schedule. + Assist in monthly inventory counts. Essential Skills + 1 year or more of manufacturing or warehouse packing experience. + 1 year or more of quality control and assurance experience. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with repetitive motion. + Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting small fixes. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Attention to detail and exemplary quality performance. + Ability to sit or stand for extended periods. + Capability to read computer screens or other electronic devices. + Use of various hand and electrical tools and equipment. + Adaptability to work in areas with fluctuating temperatures. Work Environment The work environment is a loud machine setting within a very clean and spacious 300,000 sq ft facility. Adherence to GMP is required, including no nail polish, perfume, or jewelry, with a focus on good personal hygiene and food safety. Shifts include days (7 AM - 3 PM) and afternoons (3 PM - 11 PM), with rotating weekly schedules. Currently, there are no night shifts.
