Job Title: General Production WorkerJob Description

Join our team as a General Production Worker and contribute to the assembly of high-quality polymer insulators. We offer 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, providing flexibility and the opportunity to enhance your skills through cross-training in different roles.

ResponsibilitiesWork on the production line assembling polymer insulators with precision and efficiency.Perform basic crimping tasks; training will be provided, so no prior experience is necessary.Effectively use hand tools or power tools in various tasks; prior experience is preferred.Engage in cross-training to learn and perform various roles within the production process.Efficiently operate molding machines to produce high-quality polymer insulators.Perform packaging and assembly tasks, ensuring products are packed and assembled according to company standards.Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure all products meet required specifications and standards.Essential SkillsMaterial handling experience.Machine operation skills.Inspection and quality control proficiency.Experience with molding machines.Familiarity with production line processes.Basic crimping knowledge.General production and labor experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in general production, assembly, or mechanical aptitude.Experience using hand tools or power tools.Flexibility to float between different parts of the production line.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a non-climate controlled production facility that can be very hot during summer months. Employees are allowed to keep water at their workstations to stay hydrated. Shifts are available for 1st (7am-3:15pm), 2nd (3pm-11:15am), and 3rd (11pm-7:15am) shifts.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
