Join our dynamic team as a Production Worker, where you will play a crucial role in the logistics and supply chain process. You will be responsible for managing the movement of materials and goods within our facilities, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
ResponsibilitiesLoad and unload materials and deliveries, moving them to and from storage areas, machines, loading docks, and transportation vehicles.Handle goods packed on pallets or in crates, moving them around the storage facility.Stack goods in the correct storage bays in accordance with inventory control instructions.Ensure loads are securely fastened and perform daily equipment checks.Stack empty pallets and remove machine attachments and waste material from machines.Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards and maintain a clean and organized facility.Enter orders onto an Excel spreadsheet to track inventory after two months of employment.Essential SkillsExperience in weighing, testing, and measuring materials.Proficiency in warehouse operations and packing.General labor and production experience.Ability to follow inventory control instructions.Additional Skills & QualificationsFull-time availability, working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday.Ability to pass a 5-panel instant drug screen.Willingness to work the 6 am to 2:30 pm shift.Why Work Here?Be part of a company that is committed to sustainable and innovative solutions, offering low-CO₂ cement/concrete and circularity services. Work EnvironmentWork at a Ready-Mix Concrete Plant, a key supplier for construction projects in Alameda County and the Amador Valley. We provide engineered concrete for various projects, focusing on quality, sustainability, and innovative building materials. Our offerings include standard, decorative, and specialty concrete mixes, leveraging global expertise in sustainable construction solutions.
