**Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description** As a General Production Worker, you will be responsible for cutting Lathom jobs from the correct materials, accurately issuing materials in the Epicor system, and relieving inventory. You will use calipers and micrometers to measure cut materials, manage Lathom raw materials, and inspect Lathom Pin parts with the appropriate inspection equipment. Additionally, you will polish machined parts for both the Lathom and Steel divisions, provide backup support for heat treat/subcontract duties, and assist with shipping responsibilities. You will also help with local deliveries and pickups, as well as raw material inventory. **Responsibilities** + Cut Lathom jobs from correct materials and manage inventory in the Epicor system. + Use calipers and micrometers for precise material measurement. + Maintain and manage Lathom raw materials. + Inspect Lathom Pin parts using proper inspection equipment. + Polish machined parts for Lathom and Steel divisions. + Cross-train as backup support for heat treat/subcontract duties. + Cross-train for shipping responsibilities. + Assist with local deliveries and pickups. + Assist with raw material inventory management. **Essential Skills** + Experience with mics and calipers. + General labor and machine operation skills. + Ability to read calipers and measuring equipment. + Ability to read blueprints. + Capability to lift up to 50 lbs. + Two years of experience in a general machine shop. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Proficiency in computer use. + Ability to stand for long periods. + Initiative to start and complete tasks, self-train. + Organizational and detail-oriented skills. + Forklift operation experience. + Good communication skills, both verbal and written. **Why Work Here?** We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with matching, and paid vacation and holidays, all within a climate-controlled environment.
