**Job Title: Production Worker**
**Job Description**
As a Production Worker, you will be responsible for performing all operations functions relating to the receiving, shipping, storage, and drying of grain. Your role will also include assisting in routine maintenance of all equipment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Weigh and grade in-bound grain using both computer and manual tools.
+ Work outdoors in all weather conditions to load and unload trucks and rail cars.
+ Collaborate effectively as a team member and motivate others to function as a team.
+ Communicate strongly with supervisors and team members.
+ Assist in performing routine preventative maintenance of equipment, which includes climbing to the top of grain storage bins (approximately 150 feet) and using grease guns, hand, and power tools.
+ Maintain housekeeping of the grain elevator and grounds in compliance with government and company standards.
+ Commit to the goal of achieving a zero injury culture by understanding and following company safety procedures.
+ Exhibit regular and prompt attendance.
+ Demonstrate a self-starter attitude and high initiative.
+ Perform all other assigned duties as required by the supervisor.
**Essential Skills**
+ High school diploma or GED equivalent is desired but not required.
+ Experience working in a grain elevator is preferred but not required.
+ Willingness to submit to a background check and Fit For Duty test.
+ Ability to lift at least fifty (50) pounds and sometimes more; ascend/descend ladders; walk, bend, kneel, lift, grasp, push, and pull various tools.
+ Comfortable with climbing ladders and not afraid of heights.
+ Compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
+ Willingness to work overtime, irregular hours, weekends, and holidays as required.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Basic Computer Skills - 6 months experience.
+ Mechanical aptitude - 6 months experience.
+ Some manufacturing or agricultural experience is preferred.
+ Basic knowledge of government regulations.
+ Mechanical aptitude.
+ Welding or metalworking skills.
+ Ability to use hand tools such as shovels and brooms to move grain.

**Work Environment**
The work environment includes both outdoor settings and inside a couple of sheds. The role requires working in various weather conditions and involves physical tasks such as climbing and operating equipment.

This is a Contract position based out of Wichita, Kansas
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
