**Job Title: General Production Worker**
**Job Description**
The role involves operating machines and testing equipment to build and assemble quality pumps for customers. The position requires adherence to work instructions, learning to gauge products, moving materials within work areas, maintaining production quality, documenting equipment usage, understanding quality alerts, repairing defective parts, and contributing to corrective action programs.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate all machines and testing equipment to assemble quality pumps.
+ Learn and apply product gauging techniques as required.
+ Move materials and parts within the cell work area and replenish stock.
+ Maintain production, quality, and equipment documentation.
+ Understand and respond to quality alerts and report issues to the team lead.
+ Repair defective or rejected production parts daily.
+ Analyze defects and contribute to corrective action programs.
**Essential Skills**
+ Manufacturing background with at least 2 years of recent experience in a production worker, operator, or assembler position.
+ Good tenure in previous positions.
+ Assembly experience in manufacturing.
+ Ability to lift 40 lbs to physically manage the pumps.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with gauging products is a plus.

**Work Environment**
Join a newly renovated plant in Warren, which has relocated from Oklahoma. The plant supports major automotive companies like Ford, GM, Tesla, and FCA, and is a global supplier of pump, valvetrain, transmission, and electric drive components and systems. Work with a variety of machines, including those for hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and welding. Enjoy a structured shift schedule with the option to work 8-hour or 10-hour shifts.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warren, Michigan.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.50/hr.
