Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented General Production Worker to join our team, focusing on the roles of Masker and Racker/UnRacker. This position involves performing various tasks to support operations, including masking verification, creating cutouts from Catia models, and preparing parts for processing.

ResponsibilitiesEnable effective communication between management and employees.Maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with company policies.Perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates to support operations.Create cutouts from Catia models for new and old parts.Inspect the masking on completed jobs.Track and advance jobs to the next process upon completion.Assist the masking department as needed.Perform masking verification for new parts from the quality dashboard.Contact customers for blueprints and Catia models as needed.Keep blueprints updated and apply masking tape, caps, plugs, and liquid maskants to parts based on work instructions and blueprints.Inspect parts for damage or defects prior to masking.Follow detailed technique cards and purchase orders for masking requirements.Communicate with inspectors and supervisors regarding masking concerns or quality issues.Determine the priority of jobs to begin preparing for processing.Select appropriate racking procedures according to size, shape, and number of objects to be processed.Clip or hook objects to rack or hoist for processing.Remove parts from rack or bar after processing.Complete paperwork as required by company and processing guidelines.Ensure proper PPE is worn and safety guidelines are followed.Maintain a clean working area by disposing of any unnecessary trash or wires.Ensure all hazardous waste material is disposed of correctly.Essential SkillsExperience in masking, packaging, and racking.Proficiency in basic math and problem-solving.Ability to perform general labor and basic assembly tasks.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment.Flexibility to work in multiple departments, particularly between Racking and Masking.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is subject to temperature fluctuations with outside weather conditions. Personal Protective Equipment is required, including safety glasses, goggles, aprons, rubber boots, gloves, and a respirator. The environment may have an odor from chemicals. The primary schedule is the 3rd shift, Sunday to Thursday from 9 PM to 5:30 AM, with potential opportunities for 1st and 2nd shifts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.76 - $20.76/hr.
