General Production Worker
**Job Title: General Production Worker** Job Description Join our team as a General Production Worker where you will be responsible for the cradle to grave manufacturing of magnet wire products. Your duties will include material handling of raw materials, loading the production line, machine operation, troubleshooting, quality assurance, and documentation of in-process updates. You will operate an overhead crane and forklift to move finished products. With 100% automated machines, your main task will be ensuring product quality and specification adherence. Responsibilities + Handle raw materials to prepare for production. + Load production lines by feeding raw wire. + Understand specification sheets to set machines. + Operate and troubleshoot machines. + Pull in-process enamel samples. + Read the HMI touchscreen to ensure quality. + Document all in-process updates by hand. + Use an overhead crane to move finished spools of wire. + Operate a forklift to store finished products in the warehouse. + Monitor automated production lines for quality assurance. Essential SkilOur Client + General labor experience. + Machine operation skills. + Quality inspection abilities. + Forklift certification or willingness to be trained. + Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs repetitively. + Ability to work 12-hour shifts. + Ability to read, write, and understand written work orders in English. Additional SkilOur Client & Qualifications + Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or construction. + Strong tenure at previous employers. + Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. + Ability to work safely and without consistent supervision. We are expanding our warehouse and installing new lines. The work schedule is a 2/2/3 shift with 1st shift from 8 AM to 8 PM and 3rd shift from 8 PM to 8 AM. Dress code is typical for manufacturing settings. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin, Indiana. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.40 - $21.65/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
