**Job Title: General Production Worker** Job Description As a Production Operator, you will handle finished product boxes and transfer small and medium boxes into larger boxes while stacking onto pallets. The smaller boxes weigh approximately 10-15 pounds, while larger boxes can weigh up to 50 pounds, which you will lift around ten times a day. During brief line stoppages for changeovers, you will also be responsible for sweeping and tidying up the work area. This role is not overly physical but requires repetitive lifting and standing on concrete for 10-hour shifts in steel-toed shoes. Responsibilities + Handle and transfer finished product boxes + Lift boxes weighing 10-15 pounds throughout the day and 50-pound boxes around ten times daily. + Perform sweeping and tidying tasks during line stoppages for changeovers. + Stand on concrete floors for 10-hour shifts. + Ensure boxes are moved to correct locations within the plant. Essential Skills + Experience in production or general labor. + Ability to repetitively lift 15 pounds and occasionally lift 50 pounds. + Capacity to stand on concrete for 10-hour shifts, 4-5 times a week. + Meet Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) standards, including wearing slip-resistant steel-toed shoes and avoiding loose clothing and jewelry. Additional Skills & Qualifications + No formal education required. + Ability to work in a dusty environment, which may be challenging for those with allergies. Work Environment The work environment is a temperature-controlled facility that maintains cleanliness. You will work on the 2nd shift from 4pm to 2:30am, with two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch. The facility requires adherence to PPE standards, including steel-toed slip-resistant shoes, safety glasses, and specific attire regulations. Smoking is permitted only in personal vehicles or following state laws. The plant operates across multiple floors, requiring the use of stairs during shifts. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Terre Haute, Indiana. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
