Job Description

We are seeking a diligent General Production Worker with a strong focus on quality and safety to join our dynamic team. This role involves operating machinery, equipment, cranes, or forklifts in a warehouse setting. Candidates must possess excellent math and measuring skills, have an eye for detail, and be proficient in using hand and measurement tools.

ResponsibilitiesOperate machinery, equipment, cranes, or forklifts safely and efficiently in a warehouse environment.Apply math and measuring skills to ensure precision and accuracy in all tasks.Utilize hand tools and measurement tools effectively.Stand on feet for up to 12 hours per day and perform heavy lifting as required.Load, unload, and sort materials using scan guns.Participate in receiving and shipping processes.Inspect production lines and identify defects using tools such as micrometers.Essential SkillsExperience in warehouse, forklift, or crane operating environments.Math and reasoning skills with the ability to complete a math and reasoning test.High attention to detail and ability to work with a sense of urgency.Ability to stand for extended periods and lift at least 50 pounds.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in roles requiring high attention to detail and a positive attitude.Former experience in physically demanding labor roles.Proficiency with hand tools or measurement tools.Flexibility to work any shift, including nights and weekends.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Our climate-controlled automotive manufacturing facility provides a consistent temperature of 74 degrees, ensuring comfort while working. The environment is geared towards uncoiling and stamping steel blanks for major automotive clients, maintaining a focus on efficiency and safety.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $18.75/hr.
