General Production Worker
Job Title: Operator and General Production

Job Description

This position involves operating toting stations and filling super sacks with oatmeal and other grain ingredients for customer delivery. Responsibilities include entering product data into the warehouse information system, printing labels, and ensuring product tracking. You will also perform quality checks, organize supplies, and maintain cleanliness in your work area.

ResponsibilitiesOperate toting stations and fill super sacks with oatmeal and grain ingredients.Remove filled super sacks from tote stations using a forklift.Enter product details into inventory using the warehouse information system.Print and apply labels for product tracking.Label, tie, and stretch wrap super sacks before transporting them to the warehouse.Organize supplies and check magnets for foreign materials.Perform quality checks and maintain a clean work area.Store super sacks in drive-through industrial racks.Load bulk trailers with oatmeal and oat flour as needed.Assist mill operators when necessary.Communicate effectively and work collaboratively as a team member.Adhere to all safety policies and good manufacturing practices.Essential SkillsHigh School Diploma or equivalent.Good oral and written communication skills.Ability to work with diverse personalities.Basic math skills.Basic computer knowledge.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with forklift operation and drive-through rack storage preferred.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Exposure to small grains and grain dust is common, with work occurring primarily outdoors. Some tasks may require working at heights or above ground level, and indoor work is also part of the role. The shift schedule is 12-hour shifts, 4 days on and 4 days off, with both day and night shift options.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Ansgar, Iowa.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
