Job Description
The General Production Worker is responsible for checking products for quality and packaging them. This role involves collaborating with others to complete tasks and maintain standards. The Product Inspector may assist in training new employees, work alongside Operators, clean equipment, and perform additional tasks as required.
ResponsibilitiesInspect products for quality assurance.Package products according to company standards.Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals.Assist in training new employees on operational procedures.Work with Operators on machinery and equipment handling.Clean equipment and maintain a tidy workspace.Perform other tasks as needed to support production efficiency.Essential SkillsExperience in inspection and quality control.Proficiency in material handling and packaging.Ability to conduct assembly and visual inspections.Skillful use of tools such as tape measures.Additional Skills & QualificationsCapability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.Comfortable with repetitive motion of the limbs.Ability to bend, twist, squat, and reach as required.Comfortable working in excessively noisy environments.Ability to endure exposure to inclement weather, excessive heat, or cold.Capacity to stand and walk for extended periods.Work Environment
This position operates solely within a factory setting, requiring standing for long periods and occasionally walking the plant floor in a non-climate-controlled environment. The work schedule includes night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7 AM, with a rotating schedule that offers every other weekend off. Shifts vary, with A and C Shifts operating from 6:30 AM to 7 PM and B and D Shifts from 6:30 PM to 7 AM.
