Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description

Processing of titanium sheets through grinders to meet customer specifications.

ResponsibilitiesPhysically lift and move titanium sheets in and out of the grinders with the help of conveyors, and physically flip and turn the titanium sheet.Visually self-inspect the sheet surface and use a grinding tool to remove any defects.Use a micrometer and thickness gauge (vidigauge) to check the thickness of the titanium sheet.Perform minor grinder maintenance.Perform periodic cleaning of grinder and work area.Set up machines and observe machine operation to detect any malfunction and install large belts on grinders.Train precision sheet helpers and grinder operators.Other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsGeneral labor, production, and manufacturing or production experience.Experience with machine operating is a plus.Hand tool, machine operation, power tool, tape measure, grinder, grinding, deburring, molding machine, mechanical, deburring, extrusion, saw operation, grind, finish, shear, assembly.Additional Skills & QualificationsManufacturing experience or experience working in industrial or outdoor environments.Attention to detail.Team-oriented and good communication skills.Ability to keep up with the pace of production.Comfortable with repetitive tasks.Strong work ethic.Previous machine operating experience is a plus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This is a warehouse and production environment with a rotating shift from 6 AM to 6 PM. The facility is not climate controlled and can get very hot. This is a team-oriented position where everyone works together to achieve the same goal. Once fully trained, employees will not be micromanaged, and not every day is scheduled down to the minute. Required PPE (all provided): Metatarsal shoes, safety glasses, cut-resistant gloves, hearing protection, hard hat, and chemical-resistant metatarsal boots.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of WASHINGTON, Missouri.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.26 - $19.26/hr.
