Job Title: Production Worker
Job Description

In this dynamic role, you will work as a floater, responsible for loading materials onto the production line or stacking materials as they come off the line. You will perform visual quality inspections, cut tiles to size, and stack/palletize the finished tiles. The tiles usually weigh around 2 pounds, but those with applications can be heavier. You must be able to independently lift up to 50 pounds; anything above will require a team lift.

ResponsibilitiesLoad materials onto the production line and stack materials off the line.Perform visual quality inspections of products.Cut tiles to size and stack/palletize them.Lift up to 50 pounds independently and perform team lifts for heavier items.Essential SkillsAt least 1 year of machine operation/production line experience.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.Experience in assembly, production, machine operation, finishing, cutting, and handling materials.Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.Forklift operation skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with visual quality inspection.Packing/palletizing experience.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is very clean but not climate controlled, so it can be warm during the summer. Employees will work with fiberglass materials, which may cause sensitivity for some individuals. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided to cover arms and neck to avoid fiberglass irritation. Gloves, earplugs, and safety glasses are supplied. Shift hours vary, with the 1st shift running from 5am-1pm Monday to Thursday (3pm with overtime), the 2nd shift from 2:50pm-12:50am Monday to Thursday (Friday for overtime), and the 3rd shift from 9pm-7am Monday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hilliard, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
