IMMEDIATELY HIRING near the Philadelphia, PA area for General Production Workers for a FULL TIME opportunity on 1st shift. The General Production Workers will around production machines that are used to bend material to specific dimentions based off the customer order, gathering and feeding the material into the machines, and making adjustments to the machines so the maerial is being bent propely. The requirements for this role include having a general mechanical aptitude, comfortable using hand and power tools, and using a tape measure to make the adjustments to the machines. Prior experience working in a manufacturing/ production environment or construction experience would be a good fit for this role. Responsibilities

Read a pick sheet to pull all necessary parts and materials to complete the set-up production process.Use a tape measure and understand degrees to determine the correct bending of pipes.Bend tubes and flare pipe ends to ensure proper fitting and welding.Place finished components and pipes into the frame to ensure proper fit for the welding line.Ensure bends are consistent and flares are correct in depth.Break down finished frames/jigs and load them into carts for transfer to the welding department.Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times.

Essential Skills

Mechanically inclined with the ability to use hand tools and power tools.Capable of reading a tape measurement.Familiarity with operating cutting equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ideally, one year of manufacturing or construction experience.Strong mechanical aptitude.Good measurement skills.Knowledge of degrees for pipe bending.Familiarity with working with saws.Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Philadelphia, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
