General Office Clerk
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented General Office Clerk to support daily operations at our facility in Little Ferry, New Jersey. This is a contract position, ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and the ability to handle physical tasks efficiently. The role involves inventory management, packing, and general administrative responsibilities. Responsibilities: • Organize and pack inventory items, including promotional materials and giveaway items, ensuring accuracy and proper handling. • Prepare boxes for shipment and maintain a clean and efficient packing process. • Perform physical tasks requiring lifting and moving items weighing up to 50 pounds. • Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipping activities. • Assist with scanning and organizing files to ensure accessibility and compliance. • Schedule appointments and manage calendars to support team operations. • Utilize Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook to perform data entry and administrative tasks. • Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving issues efficiently. • Execute clerical duties such as filing, document preparation, and general office support. • Coordinate shipping functions and ensure timely delivery of packaged items. Requirements • Proven experience in administrative support, customer service, or clerical roles. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook for data entry and organizational tasks. • Ability to lift and handle items weighing up to 50 pounds safely. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Capable of managing schedules and coordinating appointments effectively. • Excellent communication skills to provide customer support and collaborate with team members. • Familiarity with scanning and file management systems. • Experience with shipping and inventory processes is preferred.
